Road to graduation...step one

Right before coming home for Christmas I received approval for my thesis. This spring I will be doing a discourse analysis of the book of Ephesians. Basically I will be studying the book in its original Greek, analyzing Paul's use of the Greek and incorporating historical background relevant to the book. I'm actually really excited about doing it b/c I've already done one on Philippians (it was required for a 3rd year undergrad Greek class) and I've been wanting to do discourse analysis on another book. It has to be around 100 pages I think. I actually don't know all the specifics. My goal is to be finished by the end of April. I'm definitely looking forward to not only working on this project under the direction of one of my favorite professors, Dr. Varner, but also to being finished with my degree. Wish me luck!

The Real Me

So this is the real Sarah actually updating her blog page. All previous entries were done by my best friend, rather against my will, I might add. It is with a fair amount of kicking and screaming that I am updating my page now, but something needed to be done. And so in honor of Shay, who I love (which should be evidenced by the OCCASIONAL updating of this page), I am entering the blogging world, as it were, to compose masterful works of rhetoric to capture my oh-so exciting life. Actually, not really. My life consists of dislocated joints, whining athletes, dance parties in the training room with my fabulous girls, students complaining that I give too much homework, and coaches that I absolutely love and who I think at times are lost without me. I'll do my best to be entertaining...but I make no promises. :) ♥ ♥ ♥

April got 4 free tickets to a Clippers game. So the four of us girls went. The best part was the half time show which consisted of the elderly female dance team. AND a 90 yr old woman did the splits! SHUT UP!

My First Post
